nisarga adhikary

i grew up on hacker news, niche technology forums, and the parts of the internet where people still believed competence was a virtue.

i like hacking things. i spend most of my time doing security and ai research, making machines hack other machines, and thinking about technology, free markets, institutions, individual liberty, sexuality and the peculiar people who keep all of this running.

i have an unreasonable amount of faith in curious people with computers, open systems, free inquiry and letting competent people cook.

my actual portfolio lives at ni5arga.com. this is not that.

this is where i keep quick notes, unfinished arguments, observations, heresies and ideas that haven’t earned a proper essay yet. none of this is a permanent position. changing your mind when you get better information is generally a good thing.

notes

notes aren’t dated. they aren’t necessarily finished either.

some are arguments, some are observations, some are things i wanted to write down before i forgot them. they may change without notice.

  1. the api does not care about your phd

  2. cybersecurity and petplay

  3. making machines hack machines

  4. you have to care when nobody is paying

  5. intelligence is getting cheap. curiosity isn’t.

  6. i don’t want an ai that agrees with me
